In Loving Memory of MOM/NANA

After Mom lost the battle with Breast Cancer a wonderful friend of ours, Judy Ford, offered to create something extra special from mom's clothes. We all agreed to hand over mom's clothes and see what they would be turned into. Here is what we received the other day.
Nana Bear
One for each one of the kids

MOM/Nana Quilt
Butterflies and Ladybugs were a special added touch
"Ladybug Kisses and Butterfly Hugs"
The Ladybugs or "nana bugs" were added because the day of mom's funeral a ladybug landed on my kids walking out of the funeral home and they were scared because they both hate bugs. But I told them that it was Nana making sure that they were OK and sending her love from Heaven. They were ok and told Nana that they would see her later. It made that day a lot easier on them and me. Now when we are missing mom/nana so much a little ladybug will show up someplace and it gives us a sense that she is right there watching us and sending her our love. The Butterflies have a similar story but for my grandmother (my mom's mom). After grandma passed away we saw butterflies everywhere. On cards found in the house, pillows that grandma made, and then that spring lots of butterflies. It was the same feeling, Grandma checking in on the family.

My sweet Kids!

My sweet baby boy!
His face is priceless.
A little practice before his baby "sister" is born.
He says it's a girl baby.
My beauitful daughter!
Posing for a picture. Yep she asked to have her picture taken.
My two beautiful children being silly.
One of the sweetest sounds in our house, my two children giggling together.

Siblings

Sibling love.
I love these moments.
Playing horsey. Daddy is usually the horse but he is in the field so Riley is the horse til he returns. Brenden tries to be the horse but it does not work out to well.
I love these two with all my heart.

Baby Ringman Photo Journal

Photo journal of this growing belly.
13 weeks
No longer fit into my jeans
(been that way since week 6 of pregnancy)

16 weeks
Wearing maternity clothes and they fit!
My belly is not round in shape but square. It's hard at the top of my belly and softer at the bottom. We feel more and more movement in the evening when I am trying to rest and relax. I have my 18 week appointment on the 21 July and then my 19 week ultrasound appointment on the 28 July.

Putt-Putt Golf

A couple of weekends ago we went to play golf. The kids love the game and Ben found this course which had I believe 5 different courses we could have played. The kids picked the yellow course. Here are a few pictures of our day.
Ben trying for par!
Bubba trying to figure out how to work his club with two hands.
Getting a little help from Daddy!
Riley was great at this game.
Watching her ball....
...go in the hole.
She made a hole-in-one.
Daddy telling her great job with a high-five.
We had a great time. Mommy won the game between mom and dad by 5 strokes and then won a free game at the end by making a hole-in-one on the 18th hole. Yippy!!! Riley, Daddy, and Mommy all made a hole-in-one so we received a coupon for a 1.00 off and not to leave Bubba out we all received a ribbon for playing. The kids thought that was cool.

Baby Ringman Update!!!

Baby Ringman is only one for now with a due date of 17 Dec 2010. Heart rate is 150 beats and sounded great. I am measuring larger then the 14 weeks I am suppose to be but we will have to wait til the end of July to find out for sure.

Both Riley and Brenden went with me to this appointment. They were very excited to hear the baby's heart beat. When Brenden heard the baby he yelled at Riley, "Hurry up Riley the baby is coming. I hear the baby, it's coming." He sat and waited and listened. When we got ready to leave he asked, "Mommy, where is the baby?" I smiled and said, "that "she" is still in my belly." So we walked out with him saying.... "Mommy I don't know if the baby is going to be a boy or girl. I just don't know." He was so cute and he is very excited about being a BIG brother. So I can't wait to see what happens in December.

Seattle Zoo!

Our trip to the Seattle Zoo!
One of the many photos spots at the zoo!
Riley and Brenden enjoyed looking for these photo spots too.

A Sloth Bear.

This Orangutan was very active.

He was swinging then walked across his log to go into hiding.

The Bird House was fun.
Brenden and I went in and saw some beautiful birds. These birds just sit and wait for visitors to come in with bird feed on a stick and they come and join you. We saw one bird fly over and land on a kids stick to eat. So the kid was holding the bird. Very cool.

The Flamingos were feisty.
They put on a good show for us. They did not want the other Flamingos in their space. They would scream and bit at each other. We did not stay long because the kids thought these birds were not very nice and I had to agree.
********************
The kids enjoying the worm garden.
Brenden thinking about how to climb over this worm.

Riley in one of the houses that were in the historical zone.
Over all we had a good time but we all wished that more of the animals were out to explore.
Can't wait to see the other zoos in the area.

News Flash!

Well we have been in Washington for two weeks and I finally have a date for my first OB appointment. After lots of running around on Friday Ben was able to get one schedule. The sad thing is that it's not until Monday 14 June 2010. Yep I will be 13 weeks prego before I go to my first appointment. Most ladies are planning their second appointment at this point. It's been rough to get all this paper-work completed. They were not very helpful from the start of this process. We will see what happens at my first appointment. I hope I get to a doctor and he/she will examin me and make sure things are going ok.

We have explored a little around the Seattle-Tacoma area and have found the mall and the zoo along with a few other attactions that will be fun to visit. I look forward to explore the down-town area soon too. I really just want to have some nice weather to explore in with the kids.

Pictures of our visit to the zoo will be posted soon.

Our Visit with Aunt Pat

Me and Aunt Pat.
She is wonderful. I love spending time with her. She reminds me a lot of my mom and she is loves having family around. We had the BEST visit ever. It was very hard to leave.

Brenden fell in love with Aunt Pat righ away.
He was go and tell Aunt Pat on mom and dad when we would so something he did not like. He wanted to be with Aunt Pat often. Aunt Pat loved it. She took all the kisses and hugs she could get.
Kevin became Brenden new best friend for the weekend. Kevin drives motocycles.
Brenden wanted to go and play in the garage and sit on the bikes all the time. Kevin took him out there and Brenden would play musical bikes. In facted Brenden picked one out that he claimed to be his bike.

Our trip to the park.
There was a beautiful waterfall at the park and the kids loved it.

Brenden holding Aunt Pat's hand as we walked to the park acrossed the street.
Brenden walked up to Aunt Pat and said, "I have to hold your hand Aunt Pat." They had a blast showing off for Aunt Pat.

Our to Washington!!!

Riley and Brenden enjoyed their time at the hotels. We made sure that the hotel had an indoor pool so the kids had something to do. After the LONG rides in the truck.

While travel on I-80 we noticed lots of moutains. Then we came across this snow covered point. It was fun to play in the snow. The snow was cold but it was not cold outside. Riley had on her sandles and walked through the snow. On of my favorite moments on this trip.

The famous St. Louis Arch. Travel through this point was crazy busy. Lots of traffic and the exits where all back to back and made people drive crazy.

This was the view from the truck as we traveled.

Notice the frence. It's to help stop the drifting that accours. We had a great trip. It was VERY long but we enjoyed it for the most part. It's not something I plan on doing often but the view was beautiful.

Washington

Well the Ringman's have made it to Washington. It's not what we thought it would be like but it's our home for the next three years unless something else comes up. Moving from a house to an apartment with two and quarter kids is not a good idea. There is just not the room that we are use too. We/I have tried to help lighten the load by selling and giving away items that are not needed or being used and so on. It's been hard to move here with all the RAIN. Yes the RAIN. We have been here 1 week now and it has rained for 6 out of the 7 days. According to the locals here it's rainy season. Yeah for us! It's been hard for me to accept this move now that we are here. Not sure what makes me feel like this for sure but I hope that it improves and life gets back to normal. It has helped to hang pictures on the walls. We have made it to Seattle to watch a baseball game. Kids had a blast. I will be posting pictures of our wonderful four day road trip and the baseball game soon.

I will be keeping y'all posted with the Ringman Family on here so family and friends can read cute stories of Riley and Brenden and Baby Ringman. Lots to share over the next few months. Love y'all.

Baby 3 plus a BIG move!!!

Here at the Ringman house we have been going a little crazy. We are moving to Ft. Lewis Washington in about two weeks and we have just learned that Baby 3 is on the way too. It's going to be a busy weeks ahead of us as we plan for two BIG changes. We are still waiting for our house to sell which is a the BIGGEST stress right now. We will see once we are out of here if it helps to sell better as an empty house. We are looking forward to a change but it's going to be different being so FAR away from family and friends. I promise I will try keep everyone posted through the blog and facebook. Lots of pictures will be coming soon. Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Christmas in Michigan

The famous Poling's Christmas Tree.
Dad made sure that Mom's gold boots were front and center of the tree. This year I found those boots to be more beautiful then in the years past.
Santa leaving all these presents for three little people.
Can we say "SPOILED!"
All the stocking were stuffed and ready to be opened.
SANTA also came by and shared an extra gift with all the kids.
The 3 youngest kids were afraid of SANTA. Brenden sat on August's lap but would not get any closer. Riley hid on Dad's lap and AJ hang on to Amy's arm until his fingers were white.
Brenden and AJ
Riley and AJ
Riley and her new baby doll, Megan. She stands up and walks all by herself. Megan also talks and likes to play with her new mommy.
Brenden on his Spiderman Bike. He loves it.
Papa and Brenden.
Brenden enjoying the Michigan snow.
Uncle Paco showed him how to jump on the sled in order to sled across the yard.
Riley built her first snowman.
She could not wait to go out and play in the snow. Uncle Paco helped her with the snowman and taught both kids how to throw snowballs at all of us girls who walked outside. We all had a blast in Michigan.
