BIG MOVE

For those who are reading and not following on FaceBook.  We are preparing to make a huge move to The Netherlands.  Yes will be leaving on 5 June for a 12 hour flight to Amsterdam.  We are in the process of packing up our house and suitcases.  It's been a crazy life here in Washington but we survived the two years in the rain.  We are looking forward to this new adventure and plan on traveling lots over the next three years.  One of the places I want to go is to Landon to experience the Summer Olympics.

Many have asked if I will continue to work and right now my answer is yes but once we get over there that may change.  I really want to experience this adventure and not just live there.  I also want to make sure that I spend some time with my kiddos who will all out of sorts with this move.  They are looking forward to this move and can't wait to live in a new place.  I will try to keep y'all posted but I am not every good at blogging at this point.

Back and Running

We are back and running. Have lots to share in the next few days. Between Thanksgiving, Landon's first birthday and now Christmas I could be here for a while. Sorry about the delay but our computer was out and we just now received a replacement. So I will be getting this up to date and keep it that way. Lots will be happening in the next four months. Now that we have made through the holidays we are focused on the BIG PCS move to the Netherlands. Crazy to think that we will be moving yet again to another place/country. I love y'all and hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Growing Up!

Well we had to move Landon to a toddler bed last night because his crib fell apart. His crib is the same one his sister used 6 years ago, so yes it was time for a new one but I was not going to buy a crib for so Landon could use it for 6 months. He did great in the toddler bed and loves that he can climb in and out of it on his own. This morning I woke up to this little boy talking. I open my bedroom door to find Landon standing there with toy keys from his sister room. He had been up exploring the upstairs while everyone else was sleeping. He is growing up way too fast.

OH MY, OH MY.....

I found that I have a blog page that moves way faster then ever changing facebook. I will be trying to keep up with blogging more and taking more pictures of the kids and family. I really need a new camera at this point but am waiting for Santa so I can put in my request. With us PCSing soon I need to do something so everyone can stay up to date with the Washington Ringmans.

My sweet little Riley has started the first grade and is loving it. She is coming out of her shy shell and really starting to show her independance. Watching her grow is wonderful and sad all at the same time. She is my baby girl and I want her to stay little forever (not going to happen).

My rough and tough little boy is going to be a great little athlete. He loves playing ball with dad and anyone who will play with him. He is a Michigan fan from the Tigers, to the Lions, to the Wolverines. He loves wearing his Michigan sports clothing. He is very proud of his accomplishment to write and spell his first name. Between learning with Riley and his babysitter he is going to be ready for Kindergarten next fall.

My sweet baby boy, Landon is growing up way too fast for being my last baby. He did not stay little long enough for me. He is 10 months old and walking/running all over the place. He loves playing with his brother and sister. His favorite thing to do right now is to play cars. He pushes them around on his hands and knees and makes some great noises to go along with his play.

We are still here!!!

Wow lots of changes have taken place since my last post. We have moved into a new house still here in Tacoma, WA. Riley has finished her first year of school with flying colors. Brenden is loving being a BIG brother to Landon who has now grown into a 6 month old infant. Landon is sitting up by himself and trying to crawl. He loves to play cars with Brenden and dump all his toys out of his toy basket. Just in the past week Ben and I have decided that we would like to see if we can get orders to the Netherlands sometime next year. Yes that's right The Netherlands. We decided that we could not pass up an opportunity like this and that this would be the time to go when our children are still young. Not sure when we will receive orders but the choice has been made to try. I will post pictures soon of the kids and the house. It's been crazy around the house since we moved and working full time. 3 months old!!!

At 3 months old his has learned to laugh/giggle, smile, talk/babble, he loves to splash in the bath, he has learned to grab his toys/blanket and put them to/in his mouth, he enjoys being with his older siblings and his friends Lucas and Nataleigh. He is growing up way too fast.
