"BIG" Man on a "little" Bike!!

Ben wanted to ride Riley's bike around the house like she does. When he asked I thought for sure she would say no you are too big. But instead she says "sure, be careful." So Ben rides Riley's bike around the house like it's nothing. After this ride through the kitchen he realized that he could have raised the seat and it would have been easier to ride. Hope you enjoy my silly husband on his great bike ride.

Mile Stone Reached!!

Brenden is growing up. Over the weekend he gave up his binky. Not willing but out of sight out of mind. We have had only a few rough moments with it but other then that we are doing well. I am also thinking it's time for potty training too. He is able to tell us when he stinks and has asked to use the potty a couple of times. Not that he actually went but sharing that knowledge is a good start. We will see how things work out around the house and what will happen in the up coming months with Ben's job and weather or not we are moving. WE will keep you all posted.

Snuggle Up Close!!

This could be the reason why my child are struggling with sleeping in their own beds through the night. They are both love to be snuggled. All three of us fit on the love seat and find it comfortable.

Daddy has helped Brenden fall asleep like this since he has returned home. Now he wants to sleep in our bed all the time.

The days before the rain!

The last few nights before we received all of our rain, we BBQ and have a small fire in our new fire pit. We had lots of wood next to the house so Riley and Ben worked together to move the wood from side of the yard to the other. It was great to see everyone working together. Notice that Riley is wearing mittens. She started to help her dad and stopped because she needed her "gloves" so her hands would not get dirty. Brenden would follow along and met Riley at the loading and un-loading zone and help. He just liked to run and run to keep up with his sister. We had some wonderful nights and evenings. Can't wait for it to happen again.

Little Miss Diva

Brenden loves Riley so much that he wants to do EVERYTHING she does!

This is not all bad until it comes to being a DIVA. He wanted to wear "lipstick" (aka lipgloss) just like his sister so Riley helped him out with this task.

Meeting Baby AJ

Riley holding little AJ. It took her a day to warm up to him. She did not want anything to do with him or want mommy to hold the new baby. But after that this is what you would find.

Brenden loved him from the time we walked in the door. He wanted to give AJ his binky all the time. Brenden trying to give AJ his binky.

When Aunt Meme was holding AJ, Brenden would walk up to Meme and say, "Kiss it, kiss it, kiss it" until he was able to place a kiss on AJ. So his name was "IT". Riley noticed this too and asked if we could call AJ "Baby IT". We all laughed and said that we should call him AJ.

"We already have one named Brenden. I want a girl one."

Riley and Brenden are the best of friends. We could have asked for two better children. I believe when this picture was taken Brenden was just finishing his "time-out" and Riley wanted to talk to him about his choices. They amaze me every day.
