Saturday was a beautiful day to be outside. In fact Riley's favorite TV show, Noggin called it national play outside day. They were off the air for about three hours. Riley decided to color and do other things instead of watching TV. During this time we made our way to the Family Fun Fair on post. They had lots of different activities for the kids to enjoy. Riley and Brenden's favorite thing was the inflatiables. This one jumpy was for just the little kids so both my kids were able to enjoy themselves without being ran over. We went to servel different booths and gathered some fun information. We had a great time.

Sunday morning Riley pulled out all her "Little People" toys and wanted to play. Brenden loves to play too but has to watch out for sissy because she can be mean.
Brenden tasting the "dog" dish from the pet shop.

Riley getting all the animals ready for their bath. Brenden is there to trying to help but not being allowed to do much.
After bathing all the animals, Riley took a break to go fishing. She even took the time to teach me how to fish and catch that largest fish in the pond.
After fishing we learned that there were "new" neighbors moving in next door. They have a huge house next to the pet shop and the camper.
Once the "new" neighbors were settled in it was back to work to care for the animals again. Riley was helping by groom them and blow drying their fur. She has an imagination that goes beyond the norm. I love to play make believe with her and listen to her story line.
Brenden listening to Riley and trying to find out how his police car fits into the story.

Cute shorts Brenden, you and Austin have the same ones! Both Moms must have great taste in clothing!

Looks like a productive day of playing together. Wish you were here to show your cousins how to play nicely together!

Love you both so much!

What a great story! I love the Riley has such a vivid imagination, even if it doesn't include Brenden's police car. It will be fun to see what she will create when she starts to write stories!
